2024 – AI & Technology in Law
The main subject for 2024 was AI & Technology in Law
The week was filled with exciting learning about AI & Technology as well as cultural experiences in Copenhagen. The participants enjoyed sightseeing, a canal tour, and a visit to the amusement park Tivoli. The program also included delicious food and a wonderful conclusion to the week with a gala ball.
The academic programme for ELSA Copenhagen’s summer school consisted of lectures from Gorrisen Federspiel, Pandektes, Karnov, Kromann Reumert and DLA Piper. The participants learned about the regulatory aspects of AI, the legal and commercial challenges in relation to AI. They also learned about AI and GDPR and got an introduction to different AI/data-powered legal platforms, Additionally, the program consisted of a lecture on Black Box AI and Legal Decision Making and a moot court on the AI Act.

2023 – Corporate Law and Ethics
The main subject for 2023 was Corporate Law and Ethics. The week was filled with exciting learning in the field of Corporate law and ethics combined with all the recreational activities Copenhagen has to offer.
2022 – Intellectual Property Law
The week was filled with exciting professional presentations and social activities, where participants could get to know each other, including sightseeing, delicious dinners, champagne tasting, a canal tour, and a gala ball to conclude the week.
2021 – Canceled
It was with a very heavy heart that the annual ELSA Copenhagen Summer Law School was canceled in 2020 and 2021, due to the COVID-19 virus.
